Don’t be afraid of the beauty

Gesture. The gesture. The face.
Repetition. The rεpetition. The variation.
Beauty. Beauty? Beauty.

This choreography is part of the outcome of the 2-month workshop/residency for a public sharing at Megaron Music Hall.
This dance piece is about being beautiful, being superficial in a 10-minute live music video clip on stage. Using all the elements of a mainstream pop video we construct (in the most descriptive way) a series of actions that are always present in this kind of videos. This industry drives the majority people’s opinion on female human body, sex, beauty. The superficiality of the motion, the young female, the objectification of the body is always present in the pop culture.
